I started the Lighthouse Sock kit that I ordered from Halcyon Yarns (it can also be ordered directly from Peace Fleece). I love the yarn made by Peace Fleece. I like yarn which has a bit of lanolin in it. This has some, but it doesn't smell. The heathered yarns are amazingly beautiful. They have nice pictures of the yarns on their web site - click on the pictures for the close ups to see the details of the heathers.

My future knitting plans now include lots of mittens and sweaters made from this yarn. The company has a great philosophy too. Highly recommended and no affiliation!
