IP Address Sock

Yes, that's probably a strange name for socks, but I have to dedicate these socks to the new IP addressing scheme that I'm implementing at work. We have a new databasing system to manage our addresses and before any hosts can be assigned from the address space, all of the subnets have to be individually entered into this database. It only takes about five relatively time-consuming steps to get each subnet entered. Fortunately, I only have about 200 more to enter!

What was my point - the socks - when I put the data in, the system has to process it, and while it takes control of my computer and chugs along at the processing, I can get one round knit on the socks. I have to do something to keep myself busy - why not knit! So, as you can see, I've made some progress (for me this is substantial!!). I need to get a life.
