06.15.2002 :: Cute Little Bag
This isn't a knitting project (but you could put a little knitting project inside of it!). I made this little bag for my niece's birthday present. It's only about 7" by 4.5". It was made from an April Cornell napkin.
The napkin already had the pocket with the buttons on it, so basically, I just sewed it into the bag shape and made the handles with the extra fabric.
All of the April Cornell linens are so beautiful, that any bag made from them would be darling.

That is such a cute bag! And the socks you made look great too. I almost bought a set of small bamboo DPNs because I had so much success taking my bamboo circs on planes, but the way I pack, I was certain that the poor little needles would get snapped in two! Anyhow, it's great to see all this knitting progress :-)

What a great idea. The pattern works so well for a little purse. I have taken two pretty linen napkins before and sewn three sides together, then stuck in a pillow form (leaving that fourth side open).
