08.08.2002 :: Flacon

Knit, crochet, wash, starch, block, ta-dah!

Here is the pattern. This was very easy and quick! I was so surprised.

Lessons learned:
1. Practice crochet stitches.
    My stitches around the edge were very uneven.
2. Learn how to weave in the ends on lace.     It's one thing to weave in yarn ends on the inside of a sock toe and something completely different to finish and weave in at the edge of a piece of lace. My join is very apparent and quite sloppy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
3. If you can decrease and yarn over, you can knit beautiful lace!

and yes, there is a dropped stitch at the edge. The bind-off was crochet three together. I picked up stitch 1 and 3 and missed 2...didn't notice it until I was blocking it. I'm going to fix it...
