1. What's your favorite piece of clothing that you currently own?
It's a sweater that I bought from the J. Peterman catalog about 8 years ago. It was hand knit in Estonia. I could wear it every day in the winter. Here's a picture of a sweater that is very, very close to the one I have. Mine is darker - it's black and red with white highlights.

2. What piece of clothing do you most want to acquire?
Shoes are clothing, right? I want a pair of Dansko, closed-back clogs. There's a shop in Vineyard Haven that has these, so I'm planning on getting them while on vacation next month.

3. What piece of clothing can you not bring yourself to get rid of? Why?
I'm supposed to pick one?! My patchwork, plaid madras pants. Like these, but longer. Ok. I also have shorts like this and a shirt. I could never get rid of any of them! Why? I like plaid, I like pastels and I love madras. What a great combination.

4. What piece of clothing do you look your best in?
It's hard to say. These days, I feel best in a black and white gingham jumper that I wear with either a white t-shirt or turtleneck and a black cotton cardigan.

5. What has been your biggest fashion accident?
I had pair of two-toned jeans back in the 80s. They were so ugly!
