09.04.2002 :: Pink Washcloth
The Lace Sampler Project Yahoo group, revolves around the knitting of lace patterns from Susanna E. Lewis' book, Knitting Lace. The idea is to practice knitting lace on a sampler project.
Even if you are not doing the sampler, it's a fun place to share lace knitting experiences. For the September exchange, I knit a washcloth for my exchange partner using Pattern #78. I like the lace pattern and it has nice texture which will work well on a washcloth.
Darilyn is the heart and soul behind this group and has an excellent web site documenting her progress on the sampler.
