10.04.2003 :: Design Inspiration
This darling sweater is in the winter Garnet Hill catalog and I'm in love with it. It's a sweater for a little girl, but with a little bit of imagination, I think an adult version could be designed as a knitting pattern. So, I've just challenged myself to see if I can come up with something using this sweater as the inspiration.

Some other funky sweaters from Oliliy for color and pattern inspiration.

Oilily! There's a store near me and I just go in and love it. A long time ago I bought a sweater there and it's not easy to wear but I love it so.

I do the same thing. I've found great color schemes in scarves, wrapping paper, postcards, you name it. Of course, I never take the time to document any of it. I like the unusual color combinations in the Oliliy sweaters. I can't wear that many colors, but I can admire them. :)
