11.26.2003 :: Destination: Ikea - Pittsburgh
Mission: Find a piece of furniture to act as a pantry for my breakfast nook and also support the microwave.

Status: Accomplished! Leigh helped me pick it out, get it into my car and endured my running commentary on every item that I loved at the Ikea store! This baby only took about 90 minutes to put together from start to finish. Great directions, all of the pieces-parts and I think it really fits into the overall look of my slightly updated 1925 kitchen.
Note the two hungry kitties eating their breakfast.
Next, another Scandinavian inspired project coming soon!

Ikea is the bomb! My craft room is decked out with three pieces from that place--wonderful furniture that wears like iron.
Now, if we could only coax the company to build a store in the Cleveland area...

--whine alert-- I have to drive all the way to Washington DC to shop at IKEA (6 hour drive)!! I absolutely LOVE IKEA, and will be a regular customer at the Atlanta store when they get it open. Nice!

it looks fantastic there--Mary you sure put that together quickly! Does it fit all the pots and stuff as you'd hoped?
and we have the same microwave--no wonder we're friends (HA!)
so, where's the "before" picture missy? :-)
