Mission Falls Inca Cap from
My knitting these days seems to be limited to little projects that I can finish quickly.

A couple of months ago, I bought a pile of Mission Falls 1824 wool to make a couple of these hats for my niece and nephews.

Here is the first one - it's a variation on the color scheme found in the pattern. I tried to make it in colors which are a little bit softer since it's for my niece. I think it came out cute. The next one I have planned with have a scarlet and grey color scheme for my nephew who is a major Ohio State fan.

The details: Inca Cap in Mission Falls 1824 Wool, from the Mission Falls booklet "Just Kidding".

Special thanks to my back fence for providing a perfect spot to display knitting projects!

LOVE that hat! Mission Falls has such creative designs. I've only used their cotton so far but plan to dive into their wool for winter.

You are so talented, Mary! I've been visiting your blog for awhile now (found you through Kerstin's blog) and thought I should finally leave you a comment. Your photos are just gorgeous!

I love the hat...the bobbles at the bottom really make it fun! Color combination is great for a girl...good job!
I've now been inspired on how to use my left over 1824.
