Beautiful knitting, beautiful spinning, beautiful chair...you go girl!
By the way, you and Kerstin must take lots of pictures!

Mary, I love the pattern. This is simiar to the patterns in Moss (same twisted stitches on front and back of the work.) That's a nice color. I may chose Jamieson's lichen though...we'll see.
Just lovely, though.

Beautiful texture in that pattern.
Garage sales are great - and sometimes the things that people put in the garbage in our neighbourhood are even better!

That pattern is beautiful!! As for the chair, well, I'm a slave to the contemporary...
...no comment. : )

Aha! I took Bark to a knitting gathering recently and the other knitters said that it reminded them of an AS design. Now I know which one they were talking about. I've never seen AP, what does the rest of Canyonville look like?

I thought I was the only knitter in the universe who liked this pattern. I started the sweater a year or two ago, but severe arm pain made me cry uncle before I even completed the back. I just pulled it out the other day and have been trying to decide whether to risk it again. Your swatch looks very rich in that color.

I like how the swatch coordinates with the fabric underneath.
I think it would look fantastic as a seat cushion--what a great idea!

Swatching for the sake of swatching is something that I don't do enough of. How long did it take you?

Tha looks really cool. I fear I would dive myself crazy knitting that pattern though. One of the things I like about knitting blogland is knitting vicariously!

That swatch is so....undulating...undulative? wait. that isn't a word.
Way to go, Swatch Queen!

Hey - have fun at the slumber party and on your field trip! I'm so jealous! I know you'll all have a fabulous time. can't wait to hear/see all about it. .... The stitches in the swatch are reminding me of candle flames. really neat! :)

Sorry to post this here, but I couldn't find your email address anywhere on the site :o/
Just wanted to point out that you must have the wrong width specified on the div surrounding the image that goes with this post, cause it's gone funny.
Thanks for the mention on the dropshadows, very kind of you :o)
Bye bye - Dunstan

Do you mind if I copy/download the Peace photo that appears in your Dec. 23 entry? It's so neat and I'd like to use it as a desktop picture.

Why do travelling stitches scare me so much? I always feel like I'm doing them wrong even though they look MOSTLY right.... Your swatch is great.

How do your think Cascade 220 would work for Inishmore? It looks beautiful on your swatch. I am planning to make it soon and have been trying to decide what yarn to use for it. My LYS carries a lot of Cascade. It would be nice to be able to buy there so the wonderful owner could give me some help if I run into problems. I was also considering using Brown Sheep Nature's Spun, but Wendy from Wendy Knits doesn't recommend it for Inishmore.

Oooooo, shabby chic? Some of the stuff in my house is shabby chic though not necessarily by choice! (Pete's new car is quickly becoming shabby chic, too. Wait until you hear the latest story!) Hey, maybe you could recover my antique telephone chair while you're here? It's not like we don't already have ten thousand things planned . . . :)
