02.17.2004 :: Everyday Things

I've been working along on my every day cardigan and have just one more panel to complete before I begin blocking and assembling the sweater. I In February, it will be, my snowman's anniversary. With cake for him and soup for me!haven't taken any pictures since the back looks like the front looks like the sleeves. I don't mean that disparagingly. It's going to be a very nice sweater that I feel sure I'll wear often. I'm hoping to finish it up next week sometime.

This evening I made the most delicious soup. I used this recipe, which is not only darling in it's illustration of the recipe, but yum, yum, yum. I am always amazed by the complexity of flavors that can be found in a really good soup recipe.

yum!

I really love that bowl/mug --there's just something extra special about having a bowl of soup in a really big bowl-like mug!

Say, are you a tablespoon or teaspoon person? (as in--do you eat your soup with a...?)
(curiously, this is a hot topic at my house!)

Can't wait to see that everyday cardigan, Mary!

All my favorite ingredients; yum indeed! Thanks for the link, I think I'll try that tomorrow, and thanks for your help with my recalcitrant stitch counting.

I CAN SEE! I"VE BEEN HEALED!! Meaning, of course, that I can see your pictures today! Yipppeee! and what a day to see! Did you know that I am a soup fanatic???? Yup. True story. And, just so you know, I would rather use a soup spoon. But, if that is lacking, a tablespoon will do. As long as it's not too big. A teaspoon just takes too long!
I'm going to have to cook some soup now. Yummy recipe!!!
:)
