Lu-Ella!

Next project: Berroco Luella Vest

This will be a present for my step-mom who lives in Florida. I ordered the book from Patternworks - and now, I just found the entire pattern available for free from the Berroco web site. This is kind of a bummer because none of the other patterns in the book thrill me. Oh, well. Next time, I'll be sure to search the web before buying the pattern.

The yarn that I'm using is Phildar Cabotage in bright white. It was available from Elann last year sometime so I figured I'd give it a try. I have a couple of swatches done and have started the back. I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow.

Oh, that's a bummer! Maybe someone out here in blogland will trade with you. Very nice choice on the vest. Have you ever knit anything for your step-mom before?

That is a shame. Swapping is a good idea, or even selling on ebay. Or save it as a gift for someone someday.

Lovely pattern! So pretty and summery. I've spent when I didn't have to lots of times. Oh well.

Noel and Becky are really into that picture of Katy in the side bar. She looks like she's gonna spring out of the monitor! :)
