04.03.2005 :: I love Daylight Savings Time
Just in case you wondered. Tonight it will stay light an extra hour due the the miracle of administrated time. Yeah! This is always great news to a non-morning person.
More color, this time in a recently completed, knitted project:

The Noro Kureyon scarf. I bought this yarn at webs and started it on the ride back to Kerstin's. I believe the pattern is in the book, Last Minute Knitted Gifts, but I just followed the instructions on the store sample tag. Mistake rib, alternate balls of yarn every two rows, keep knitting and knitting and knitting until you run out of yarn. I made the scarf two ribs wider and used four balls of yarn altogether. I'll post the colors shortly...

Love the photo. The scarf is a great way to use Kureyon. Thanks again for the skein. I am still trying to decide what to make (socks vs. gloves).

Alternating colors on the mistake rib is cool. I love "administered time," too! When I left Knitsmiths tonight, it was still light out! Yay!

No, no, no! The end of DST means that I go back leaving for work when it's dark. It's going to be awfully hard to get up tomorrow morning.
Super scarf, BTW.

Wonderful picture of knitterly colorfulness! Would you mind if I save it to my photo program so that I can use it for my desktop photo for awhile? A photo that wonderful deserves to be looked at more than once or twice.
