04.05.2005 :: Socks. No. Maybe mittens.
I was going to make socks with this yarn, but after I started to knit, I realized that I wouldn't want these colors so far away from my eyes. Instead, I'm going to make mittens. I'm knitting at a tight gauge and I really love the knitting so far!

The knitting has more well defined stripes than I would have guessed from the (beautiful) skein. Any word on your Robin wheel?

The colors are so beautiful - I agree, socks are just too far away. Mittens you can rub across your cheeks every so often!

Mittens are always good--especially such pretty and colorful ones as those.
Plus, mittens you can wear everyday with little fuss and you won't have to come up with an excuse like you would if you wore the same socks everyday, which require washing.
