Ellie has really good eye contact.
I have a pile of emails to answer and I'm not likely to get to them anytime soon! I'm swamped in the upcoming two weeks and may not be online very often. Don't worry, though. I will get back in touch!

Watch! is the command I use to get Ellie to look at me. She's pretty good at it!

I love looking at Ellie. It makes me, for only half a nano-second, think I could have a dog. Then I snap back to reality and remember that they don't come with a walker and a trainer and a vacuumer and a cleaner upper.........just me. There is all that love stuff, but I think I may not be much of a pet person. So I love looking at Ellie. She is lovely.

Quick question-is direct eye contact with a dog safe? Or is it only safe with you because you are her alpha person? I always thought that dogs took that as aggression and might bite. Take your time answering-I'm not in a hurry for any answers.
